Are You A Grown Up?

This was the question Boyo asked me the other night at dinner.

"Yes, I am," I told him, even though I don't think I am.

"No you not," he informed me.  "You just being silly!"

"How come I'm not a grown up?" I asked.

"Because you don't eat your vegetables!" Boyo told me.  "Only grown ups eat their vegetables!"

My husband choked on his salad.
