August and January are hard work months for me ... instead of working 40 hours a week, I was working between 50-60. And all the perks of being a work from home mom disappear as I'm pretty much locked into my computer.
So I missed my friends.
My kids missed the park. And fun Mommy.
I missed the GYM.
I missed doing ANYTHING other than work and taking care of kiddos.
And then the end was in sight... February was just around the corner.
And THEN.... they all got sick.
ALL. FOUR. OF. THEM.
The older 2 got the stomach flu.
The babies had pneumonia and bronchitis, and BabyBug had a double ear infection.
So even though I could go out during the day, I couldn't.
These were not the best 2 weeks.
I cried. ALOT.
So did the babies.
My house looks like a tornado hit it only to have it be engulfed in a hurricane.
I could feel depression rolling over me in fits and starts... and I didn't like that.
So Wednesday we went to the park near our house.
No one was there so I didn't have to make the babies wear their hazmat suits.
I was able to do a quick pilates work out while they played....
And then they discovered a new game:
Climb on Mommy when she is planking.
Or as KK called it: "Gotcha Mommy!"
